How Does Tobii Pro Spark Work?
When participants interact with digital or physical stimuli, the eye tracker is installed below a computer monitor (or on an optional tripod) and continuously logs where they are looking.
Tobii Pro Spark uses video-based pupil and corneal reflection (PCCR) eye tracking, where infrared illuminators create reflections on the cornea while an integrated eye tracking camera captures images of both eyes.
Tobii's proprietary algorithms combine these images with its patented 3D eye model to calculate:
Gaze position
Eye position in three-dimensional space
Pupil diameter
with high reliability.
